Terms of Service
Last updated 22 September 2026
These terms describe the agreement for using Pazt.
Using Pazt
Pazt is a pre-release app for recovering and keeping memories of the places and eras you grew up in. Features may change, and some are unfinished.
Your content
What you add to Pazt stays yours. Without an account, your archive is stored on your device. With an account, your profile, places, answers, stamps, activity, and the memories and photos you create are also stored privately with Pazt. Please add only content you have the right to use, and follow the Community Guidelines.
Contributing to Pazt
When you add a memory to Pazt (a contribution — different from a private memory you keep for yourself):
- Only send words and photos you have the right to share — your own, or ones you have permission to use.
- Don't include private or sensitive information about other people (names, faces, addresses, health, or anything they wouldn't want shared).
- Every contribution is reviewed by people before anything is published. Pazt may edit it (for example, a clearer title), combine it with a memory already in Pazt, keep it as a note on an existing memory, or not publish it — and doesn't have to explain each decision.
- If approved, your contribution may be shown to everyone in Pazt, with the credit name you chose (or as the Pazt community). You give Pazt permission to store, edit, display and keep it in the archive for this purpose. You keep any ownership you have.
- Pazt can unpublish or remove published contributions at any time, and can stop an account from contributing if it breaks these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
- If you delete your account, contributions that weren't accepted are deleted. Accepted ones stay part of the Pazt archive, without your name or account (credited to the Pazt community).
- Anyone can report a memory with "Report an issue" on it. Contact us about your own contributions at the address in the Privacy Policy.
Archive content
Archive memories are curated for recognition and nostalgia. They may contain mistakes; you can help by requesting a correction from Help & Feedback.
Your account
Accounts are optional. You're responsible for access to the email address or Apple/Google account you sign in with.
What can be restored
If you're signed in, your profile, places, answers, stamps, activity, and the memories, drafts and photos you create can be restored when you sign in again. Without an account they are kept only on your device: losing or resetting the device, deleting the app, or deleting the local archive removes them, and Pazt can't restore them.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Pazt changes. Material changes will be described in the app before they apply.
